asdr83 | Happy Anniversary

Today marks 30 years of my parents' marriage and 37 years since they met and became a couple. They always celebrate the last Saturday of Septemeber because that (over the actual date) is what is important to them. i sent them to the Mattapoisett Inn for a night with dinner and champagne as well. I'm happy that they had a good time, they really had a stressful month and needed a break, but I am somewhat sad for them because no one except me gave them any sign that they remebered that my parents beat the odds and have been happy together since high school.
