This weekend left me feeling a bit drained. Friday night I went to see
laurion and had some of the worse pad thai I've ever tasted (not Absolutely Asia's best dish, though the other food we got from there was good). My sweetheart was exhausted and busy so I watched T.V while he counted and refolded the shirts for Intercon D. Slept a bit late so we went to Dunkin's for breakfast instead of our usual leisurely meal at Arcadia. Then I went back to school so
laurion could go spend his day gaming. I went to school and packed up some stuff and had a meeting with my potential apartment mates for next year, we're meeting again Wednesday. Was a difficult meeting and only about half the issues got addressed. I then headed home. My mom has a new car, new for us anyway. It's a really old really ugly oldsmobile cutlass, and it feels like it'll shake apart if you go over 40mph, but it runs and the old one had stopped running. After getting home I spent 2 hours trying to find a dive shop and got there after it closed, luckily it's on a bus route so I can go tomorrow or something. I need my snorkeling equipment for the bahamas by the swim test March 17th. I had a really nice dinner with my family and then my parents went out dancing. I vegged out all night instead of getting work done and then stayed up late chatting with my parents when they got home. Got up early for work Sunday, my mom made me brunch and packed a lunch for me, cause she's wonderful! Work was unbelievable hectic for a day that looked easy on paper. Neither of our doctors really wanted to be there, one was feeling ill and the other was worrying about her really sick child. The mood of the office then was less fun than it sometimes is and therefore more taxing. Also we got so busy that when I took first lunch it was 1:30. I went home after work, ate dinner and my parents took me back to school. I read Another Fine Myth instead of doing work and fell asleep late. Oh I also chatted with a friend from high school, she was in the ICCA quarter finals in Canada Saturday and her a cappella group came in first! She was really excited, which was really good to see since she was really depressed last year. And now I'm off to get some work done.
