Thin envelope in my box
Jan. 31st, 2005 06:09 pmI got home to find a thin little envelope from Tufts waiting for me in my mailbox, hidding behind all the tax info that had come today. I opened it trepidatiously, simultaneously tellingmyself that I expected to be rejected and that thin does NOT equal bad. Well I was right. Those blessed people gave me an interview. Better than that the first word in the letter was congratulations. Feels so good to get an interview, I was scared every place was going to reject me flat out. I know I shouldn't be too excited, this was just the first cut and I'm still more likely than not going to be rejected from every place this year, but I'll take what I can get.
