And politics continue their downward spiral

Yesterday the Supreme Court ruled that national banks that lend money to home buyers and students are exempt from supervision of the state banking comissions in the states they serve. Apparently state commissions catch more iffy banking practices than national and our big national banks wished to be freed of that.

Today the Supreme Court became the only court to up hold the federal abortion ban, which criminalizes abortions performed in the second trimester, with no clause excepting cases where the woman's health is at risk. A 13 week fetus is now officially more protected than my life.
