More sick

So it seems that the combination of the unknown virus last week and stress has weakened my immune system to the point where the herpes-zoster virus that has been living in my nerves since I was two has re-asserted itself.
For all you non-bio people it means I am currently suffering from shingles. Shingles is what happens to adults who have had chickenpox when the virus reasserts itself. I'm lucky it's just a small painful patch on my shoulder, and fingers crossed, I won't get blisters. I'm on 800mg of an antiviral 5 times a day, which sucks. Stress makes it worse so I'm trying to relax about my exam tomorrow. I'm only contagious to people if they have never had chickenpox or the vaccine and only if I get open blisters. Unfortunately my sweetie has never had the disease so we're being extra cautious and trying not to hug much.
So today i'm relaxing and will soon start baking and studying. Hopefully life will calm down eventually.

So sorry honey! My Dad had the shingles when my sister and I ahd the pox. It's no fun! Get better soon and think pleasant thoughts like about the boy, or holiday with the family. Much love and huggles.
