Two days in a row off

Yay! A holiday that gives me two days in a row off, so much fun packed in to two short days. Thursday night Chad got me from work and we headed back to Needham to see my town's fireworks. Needham has always had wonderful fireworks and did not let me down this year. We stayed the night at my parents' place and went to the Needham parade with my family in the morning. We happen to find a spot to watch the parade right behind one of the families I babysit for, so Chad met my triplets, which was fun and they were absolutly adorable.
Chad and I then jumped in the car stopped quickly at his house so he could change to shorts and drove down to Duxbury to see Chad's family. We saw their parade and I met Chad's grandfather's family. We went to his family cookout played Cosmic Whimpout with his family and then went to watch fireworks over the water.
Saturday Chad and I packed up a bunch of our friends and went down to Duxbury (again) to spend the day at the beach. We had an absolutely fabulous time. I spoiled it all on the ride home though, I called to check on my rabbit. He'd seen the vet Thursday, because his abcess had been growing, when they lanced it it bled, without purulent material coming out. The vet told us he was probably bleeding to death quietly. Friday night he hoped into his box fell asleep and died shortly thereafter, he was seven and quite a good bunny. After that Chad and I dropped our friends home went to dinner and then turned in early.
Today I worked and Chad picked me up after, we had a quick bite and he then drove me to fencing. He is quite a dear and stayed on and then took me home. Partly though I think he was a bit repentant about getting me late from work because he over slept his nap. Luckily I easily passed the time by calling
shprintzah and having a wonderful chat. I also managed to finish my first level at work and now am working at new stuff (plus the extra little perk of a small raise). All in all a good, though not perfect weekend.
